Today is the first day that I really don’t have anything to say.
Not true. I have a lot to say, but I don’t have the energy to put it all down now. Not in the way I want.
Therefore, today I offer you a picture of my dogs. Enjoy.

I so badly want to ‘cop out’ today too. What a clever way to do so. I think your dogs have a lot to say for you. Perhaps tomorrow’s slice will be from their perspective?

I was really struggling to write today and used your slice as my motivation to persevere; Thank you!

I’m so glad my post helped you out of your funk! I have had the same experience from other posts so I’m glad to pay it forward!

Cop out posts count, especially when they are accompanied by adorable pictures of dogs. We all have days with less to say – or, as you said, plenty to say but not enough energy to say it. When I get really desperate, I try “form” posts – 10 things about me or “currently” or what I’m reading. There’s a great one this year called “If we were having coffee.” I think Elisabeth Ellington and Tammy B both used it today. Onward!

Awww… It’s reassuring to know that you feel the way we all feel at times, and you admittedly publicly. Kuddos to you, and your dogs are adorable!

I love that you acknowledged and honored not having the energy to dig in with today’s post. We all have these days, and I’ve fought a couple of them this week myself. Your post felt a little like liberation to me…like a permission slip to let myself off the hook when the energy just isn’t there. Thank you! Also…your dogs are ADORABLE!!! 🙂
